Our mission 

In the frame of passenger data exchange for security purposes ruled by the EU directive 2016/681 :

  • Provide our EU counterparts with the benefit of the acquired know-how and developed tools
  • Reduce the costs  through sharable tools and knowledge
  • Simplify the implementation  of passenger data exchange between States and Airlines through a unified gateway.

The agency history

Convinced of the benefits of tools’ pooling – for all EU stakeholders – to ease the implementation of Passenger Information Unit’s system, the Luxembourg State has partnered with the software editor  Streamlane  to build a gateway easing the data collection from the airlines… a no core but mandatory function.
